Comparing multi-platform games is meaningless, especially old ones. It is true that multi-platform games tend to look slightly better on the Xbox 360. Recent games are showing little to no difference. Keep in mind Xbox 360 is using technology that already existed, with more power and memory. This makes it easy for developers to program for, which is why multi-platform games on 360 might look a little better.

Ps3 developed a true next gen console with new technology (Cell Processor, blu-ray, ext.) Game developers need to learn how to program for this new hardware, which takes time and money. Be assured, the Ps3 is capable of much more than the 360. From what I’ve herd, the 360 has already maxed itself out. Where the Ps3 has a substantial amount of growth and progress ahead. I don't know about Microsoft's unsubstantiated claims of unknown future games that will rival Killzone 2.

God of War 3 and Gran Turismo 5 are examples of games clearly showing that the Ps3 is already surpassing the 360. This trend will continue.

Agreed. But let's not ignore that the trend you mentionned is also coupled with the trend where the market rarely cares about the best graphics in the console space, at least from a hardware-based perspective.

ya know i dnt even really care about the graphics on a system,as long as its a good game and the graphics are at least decent and not jus digital boxes running around.ill play it,and the ps3 and 360 both have really good graphics

Yeah, I agree, graphics are secondary to games. Xbox360 has good enough visuals, and a larger library of games. However, the game lineup of 2009 for the ps3 is far better than the 360's lineup this year. Don't get me wrong, the 360 is a good system, but the extra power of the ps3 will help a game's experience with more than visuals. It lets game developers increase the size of games, enhance physics, and improve almost all aspects of a game.
