Hi there its been a while since a new update has arrived and so I was wondering..., does anyone know when 4 point something of the PSP be released and if possible what will this update consist of? What new facilities it will have?

I have been also hearing of a new PSP game to be released in June 2008, called, "WALL-E". I get the feeling that the new PSP update, series 4, will be availible the time this game is released.

I would very much app reciate if someone knew specific details of this new update.

Well if you mean a system update/firmware update version 4.0. I don't know exactly when it will arrive.

But WALL-E is game based on the Disney-Pixar movie with the same. So it will probably be released for all major consoles, to milk most profit out of the movie title as possible.

LOL, well, with 4.0+ being available and all, I've come to find that the PSP is lacking in function that is there, but not! LOL

Since I'm going away, I won't have my PC, but I will have my PSP/PS3/360 with me. Obviously want to keep updated on news from psxe, so I went and added the RSS feed to my PSP... Which I tend to use for the very purpose of checking on news and IMing (I have a cellphone with IMing now, so no need for that part)...

The RSS feed displayed nothing though... Come to find out the RSS feed on the PSP only uses video and audio. No text RSS feeds. So I'll be sticking to the main page, but I find this humorous because as I saw people pointing out on the official sony forums... You can't make use of the Playstation Blog RSS feeds, or really any of their RSS feeds... LMAO... Sony lacking the ability to give itself some love... Sad!

RSS is kind of old though isn't it? I think I read it came with firmware 2.60? If that's the case, why do I imagine we won't ever see text RSS feeds... >.>

Side note, as I have a cellphone for IMing now, I still think Sony should add an IMing program to the PSP if they can. Be kind of hard with MSN Messenger (duh... microsoft!), and being on sides with Google I see that as making it hard to use Yahoo...
