I am new to PSP and am having trouble updating. I currently have version 3.03 and have downloaded 3.95 from sony site. It shows up on my memory stick but when I go to run it, it comes up Game could not be started (DADADADA). What can I do, I have tried many different ways to download nothing is working. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

AHHHH!
PSP error (DADADADA) means you don't have official Sony firmware on your PSP, you have a custom firmware. I forget if we can talk about those here ![]()

Well I guess the first thing to do is find out which firmware you actually have. Since you said you have 3.03 I'm guessing it's one of DA's 3.03 OE's but you should find out which one.

it shows 3.03 OE-C in the system settings. Does that help? I appreciate you helping me out. I haven't done anything except play games and download new wallpaper. I did lend it to someone and hopefully they didn't do anything to it.

My problem is that I can't play any of the new games. I've been trying to play the new Pirates of the Carribean at Worlds End but it won't load. I keep getting the same message. Maybe there is some kind of a quick fix, I don't know. I am really new to this PSP. I like it but right now all I can do is play games that are older than version 3.03.

Hi there, I see the problem you are having with your psp. I know of what may cause this but am not fully sure of this.
In order for me to be sure, I will need to know your PSP (PlayStation Portable) model number. This can obtained under the battery. The word or phase "PSP-xxxx" I will not need the other numbers next to this word or phase but only the 4 digits. PSP Habstaz |
