have you taken the battery out for at least 30 secs? ..if not try that.
also try opening the disk tray and blowing through it (with your mouth..lol) or a can or air. or gently knocking the psp (GENTLY) to dislodge anything that might be blocking the laser. also try loading up the disk without the memory card. all this fails, go to the system memory and format/reset to defaults and see if that works. remember though, if you reset to defaults.. remove your mem card or you will lose data. IF all that fails and it still wont work, send it back to sony. if its out of warranty then they will charge you, but it wont be as much as buying one a shop!

Hi there, I think I may have an answer to your problem as my friend / mate has experienced what you have experienced.
You say that your PSP (PlayStation Portable) is not detecting the UMD (Universal Media Discs) you insert into the PSP concolse, right? This is due to the consumer / owner of the PSP. Please think back to a time that you may have dropped your psp console. This may have resulted it into functioning like this. It is because your lens in the PSP UMD reader has been damaged or a part has been broken off its area / location. In order to fix this, you will need to get your PSP repaired or either purcahse a new one. First of all to be sure, I do want you to test all of your UMDs you have for your PSP console, including movies, videos, games, etc. So that I am sure of what caused your psp to act in such a way. I hope at the moment, the feedback I have given you against your post is useful. PSPHabstaz |
