Hello,

I'm newbie in PSP, my memory stick was infected by virus after I connect it to PC to download some music file. I'm planning to format my memory stick, may I ask the next procedure for me to load again games.music..etc to my memory stick?

ok.. format it using the psp.. as in go to settings yadda yadda...


then when you look at your mem card when you hook your psp up to the pc, go in to it and there should be a file named PSP.. in that file there should be a group of files.. them being 'VIDEO', 'PHOTO' 'MUSIC', 'SAVEDATA', 'SYSTEM' and 'COMMON'. if they are not there.. create them.

note though.. that these files may be in a different place to what ive said.. but as long a sthey are somewhere and that they work.. then its all ok.


...There should be other files too (but this is due to firmware updates.. so if you dont have them, you can create them or download the latest firmware) these are 'LICENSE', 'THEME' and 'RADIOPLAYER'.

there should be no problem as long as your memstick isnt perm damaged..

btw, how big and what type of mem card is it?
