Arrow PSP Store brought to PC...

From Game Press:
--------------------------------
PLAYSTATION®Store now on PC

Introducing a world of PSPTM (PlayStation®Portable) content accessible via PC: downloadable games, playable demos, trailers and exclusive non-game content

This November sees the launch of PLAYSTATION Store for PC at http://store.playstation.com. It’s the answer to every PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) owner’s dreams: an all new website that, similarly to PLAYSTATION Store on PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™), brings together in one place all the great PSP content – and, this time, makes it available from your PC. Access to the site is completely free*, with no purchase necessary and no subscription required, leaving you to enjoy PLAYSTATION Store when and how you like.

The site goes live on November 20 – and it launches packed with content. You’ll find exclusive full game downloads including Beats™ and Go! Puzzle™ - titles for PSP only available on PLAYSTATION Store for PC. You’ll find downloadable versions of existing PSP games such as B-Boy™ and Fired Up™ as well as a range of downloadable PS one® classic titles that includes some longstanding favourites – think WipEout® and Crash Bandicoot™. There are also brand new playable demos like the breathtaking WipEout® Pulse and Syphon Filter™: Logan’s Shadow as well as trailers for forthcoming PSP titles – so you can try your hand at new games as well as watching what’s in store for the future. As if that wasn’t enough you can download cool music content and keep up to date with new and upcoming bands.

Managing your money becomes easy: payment will work in the same way as PLAYSTATION Store on PS3. If you’ve already registered with PLAYSTATION Network via PS3, your login details will remain the same for PLAYSTATION Store on PC – so there’s no need to register again! You can even manage your PLAYSTATION Network account via your PC – topping up the funds in your wallet, editing your personal profile or managing your friends list.

Overleaf are a few of the things you can expect to find when PLAYSTATION Store for PC goes live on 20th November at http://store.playstation.com.

My thoughts exactly. Checked the UK store out earlier today, there in't a lot, but can't refuse a whole game such as the original Syphon Filter or Crash at £3.49!

So I'm slightly confused still, does this or does it not mean you can play PS1 classics on PSP without the PS3? the way they word it makes it sound like to me, that you download it and upload it to your PS3, but I don't remember the mention of PS3less play. It would be awesome if they let you do that now though... Anyone try it?

I was just at the site. Unless I'm missing it, it says you can download to a PC, then transfer it to your PS3. What???

I've been harping on about this for well over a year now: why in the heck can't they just allow me to download games through a PC to my PSP?!?!?!?!

I went to the site, excited by lessened financial frustrations recently, and I wanted to get Castlevania, but its telling me my credit card information isn't valid. BS it is too! but it won't work... I can't get my friggin game, and I don't know where its assuming my info is incorrect. Maybe I'll go buy some VC or 360 content instead.

Oh good news. Or not.
Apparently even though my bank information was 'invalid'... the PS Store still found it acceptable to take out a $1.00 access fee for each time I tried. Only $4, yes, but it also happened to help push my balance over the limit since my bank didn't post my rent check til after I had less than the ammount on the check, as opposed to before when I had plenty like my online banking page said it did. Oh glorious day.
