Ah right, thanks dillon, may hold off on it for awhile then. I've always hated Worms single player, could never do it but Worms 4 had an ok single player.
Do you know the UK release date for SF? I havent played an SF game since 2, but I bloody loved that one.

Now I'm thinking I might hold off getting SF
M for a bit. I might try to hold out for the downloadable PS1 SF games first. Then, after replaying them, I'll pick up the new one.Being a gamer who loves good graphics, it might be sort of a let-down to play the original games after playing the new one... When are the downloadable emulations scheduled for release??

Goten.. yup, they say its the 5/5/06.... but seeing as it has taken almost a year (or so it feels like it) for Socom3/Socom FTB to come out.. im wondering if SF will be on time or delayed or not.
we'll see. top top game tho! Svosen.. lol. good point!!! I dont know the dates of these downloadable games either.. would be very VERY nice to know more about that! so other than SF1.. what other games would you want from PS1? I would like FF8, i think that would be rather nice or a lil game called Shaolin...Edit: now playing GTA at 333mhz!!! I would say its a lot smoother, less pop up... nice, very nice. b/w its using the edison cheat device.... usually it just runs at 222mhz.

Svosen... get off your ass up and go get SF !!! This IS a new game that HAS ABSOLUTELY no relation to the prior games. It's not like you are gonna tie up any loose ends or anything and the game plays ALOT differently than the predecessors (WAYYYYYY BETTER). To be truthful, after playing this one there is no way I'd even wanna go play one of the old ones now, especially Omega Strain...yuk.
The PSP PS1 emulation thing is definitely NOT HAPPENING until PS3 is out, so are you willing to wait that long? Hell just go find em on PS1 if ya want to play the old ones THAT bad.

I already have the original PS1 discs, so I could play them whenever I want. I just want to be able to play them on the PSP. And, as you pointed out, once I play Dark Mirror, I'm probably not gonna want to play the originals anymore. That's why I was saying I would prefer to replay the originals, THEN play Dark Mirror. I never did pick up Omega Strain; all the bad reviews made me stay away. Dillon: Your question is a good one. I've considered it some, but the only thing I've come up with is that I'd like to pick up some PS1 platformers for PSP emulation. Beyond that, I thought I'd ask around to see what good games I never played on the PS1 and pick some of them up. Seems like there are probably a gob to be had.

Bought Street Fighter yesterday, really good game with lots of different modes..... but damn is it hard on the psp d-pad! It's extremely stiff, I can see why they brought out that d-pad add on in US/Jap, but Im annoyed that they haven't released it here (to my knowledge).

It's a pretty sweet game, but if you have any other version of Alpha 3, it might not be worth getting. There's a lot of modes in it, one of my favourites being Dramatic battle which is two on one. Just wish I had a few mates that had it so we could play two of us on one of them. World tour mode seems pretty deep as well.

I thought those d-pads came free only for pre-orders, but did see another article later saying they were selling them separate on Capcom's site. From what I heard it GREATLY improves the pads range and makes moves a lot easier to pull off.
The game looks great but I think Capcom dropped the ball without including Infrastructure. To think of it, none of Capcom's PSP games have Infrastructure, even Monster Hunter is missing it, something I really hope they add before the U.S. version ships. MM Powered Up has that map editor, and you can upload your maps to Capcom's site and download others but come on, Street Fighter could have been a 100 times better with it.
