lol...I know I know.. im behind in the news of Vice City im just soooo happy, because out of the three its my fav outing.

so.. Mista, you got Monster Hunter? yeah, its a real shame its not online, but you know.. im sure they will change that for the next one. just needs some serious programming. far more than Socom need to be on line I reckon.

but yeh... its pretty amazing. yes it has its faults, but like most good games, those faults you can over look if you wish to. but am still training and getting used to my farm. its kinda cool to go out in to the field and just watch the animals walk about etc.. its reminids me of Jurassic park.. only you kill and skin them and use their bones etc.. lol. its a lil gory too.. which is nice

BB.. OutRun looks really good! i might pick it up next time i want a racer, been close to buying it a few times but other games have won thru each time.


svosen.. klax is brilliant, im not saying that lumines isnt.. but for old skool gaming, its at its best. to be honest I reckon the creators of Guitar Hero must of played Klax a lot!

ahh, one of thse rare moments when we get a game that youre meant to get before y'all.

i have never played monster hunter on the PS2, so I dont know how it compares.. but I thought it was just a hack n slash sort of game, until I walked in to a pack of Velociprey while on a quest. I slayed them.. oh yes, but it was just like the Velociraptor out of J.park in the way they fight, form and attack.. was cool. but then more and more came, I tried to kill them all, and i did kill a lot but they just tore me apart, I didnt have a chance.

thats when I realised that this isnt just a hack n slash game.. next time im going to creep by them because no matter how strong you are .. you just cant kill 20 Velociprey with a sword and sheild.

seems that in this fantasy world there are real life rules that stop you from being like Conan, which I think is cool.

I just bought Kingdom of Paradise for $20. So far I like it.

Since I got my PSP, I haven't bought a PS2 game. Although there are a few PS2 games I want right now, that are out, I just feel more interested in buying PSP games right now. Part of the reason could be that my PSP only has 11 games, while my PS2 has 184.

yeh, had that .. completed it and started it again, but sold it in order to get Syphon filter. superb game. i really liked it!

I find playing my PS2-like games on the psp so little, I decided, that starting a month ago, I would only get quirky games you can't get on consoles (or at least, games that are uncommon on consoles). Super Ghouls and Ghosts is next on my list.

How is Exit? I saw it at Future Shop for $24.99 (CAD), and was wondering if it's worth the purchase.

Wow, $25? It's definitely worth that. The controls could use some improvement, and it's a game that requires patience (think old school PoP or Lost Vickings), but it's pretty good.

There's 100 levels in the game off the bat, but there's plenty of them to download off the web. For $25 it's a good value.

Just picked up Syphon Filter today (1-day early present from my wifey for my birthday).

My system is updating to 2.60 right now; might play a few minutes tonight before bed, but probably not. Will give my impressions later.


Also thinking of getting 007: From Russia with Love. Anyone play that yet?

I was thinking about getting FRWL until I got Syphon Filter. I think after Syphon Filter you might pass on FRWL also Svosen.

I will finally be getting Monster Hunter Weds Dilly. I was so inpatient I traded in Pursuit Force, Mid Night Club (psp) and Mega Man X Collection for Maverick Hunter X. After beating X1 -X3 the rest were so pathetic I just got rid of it. I'd rather play the updated X version and try the Vile mode out.
