I got the 2.70 update and will try the demo later. And the deformed head thing kinda turned me off to Powered Up also.

As far as new games, I just saw some pre E3 footage of Tekken for PSP and
The only fighting game for PSP I was probably getting ( a BIG probably too) was gonna be Street fighter, but now I might scratch that. The only reason I 'm not considering MK: Unchained is because I want Armageddon on PS2.

yeh, I was going to get MK until I saw Tekken. even if MK has online play, Tekken looks miles better.

you could again (im getting tired of saying this) ...you could mistake it for a PS2 tekken. amazing what they have done.. just looks so fluid and tekken-like


I hope to god they make a start on Soul Calibur!!! but must not be gready! tekken is good enough for now.


tho Ace Combat looks fkg great too.. havent seen that moving yet, but the screens are incredible

Newest E3 info on Ace Combat...

And man I wasn't even thinking Soul Calibur... it has to be one sooner or later.

I already got the 1st 2 MK's on PS2 so I'm gonna finish it off w/ Armageddon and won't have to worry about online play, and get Tekken for PSP. The last Tekken I had and really played was TAG at the launch of the PS2. Since then Soul Calibur, MK, and some Capcom fighting games have over thrown Tekken. It'll be nice to have a REALLY good portable version since I most likely won't by the PS2 version.

My mate just bought a PSP and got Wipeout free. We were both suitably impressed. I can't imagine how people would buy a DS over this regardless of the price difference.

DS imo is good.. but I would only buy a DS if I had a psp first, lol...

Originally, I bought a DS. Although I liked it, I wasn't really impressed. When I got a PSP around 5 months later, I was very impressed with Wipeout Pure more than anything on DS. I ended up buying 8 more PSP games afterwards, and already own more PSP games than DS games, in just a few weeks. Yeah, I like my PSP better.

Anyway, I got Ridge Racer. It was used, since it was only $19.99, compared to $29.99 new.

PES for the PSP is amazing, tho many people slag it off because its so good that they are forgetting its just a psp and not a ps2! lol.

but I love it, fantastic game.. and I hate football in general.


Ridge Racer is still a great game, worth anyones money at 19.99!!

ive gone back to Wipeout for a bit, now that my WiFi max is working ive downloaded all the updates! fkg superb! I love this game.

I wonder if they will ever bring out a sequel, because the updates are almost as good as a new game, but its free instead of paying £30 for a newer version.

the secret ships are ok... but the Gamma tracks are cool...
