My last game was Wipeout Pure. However, that's all I own right now, since I got my PSP a few days ago. My PSP wishlist is around 20-30 games, so I'll definitely build a large PSP collection throughout the year.

I picked up a golden oldies combo awhile back (Has Joust, MK, MK2, MK3, SpyHunter, Klax, Defender, Marble Madness, etc.).

I've really enjoyed Klax. Had never even heard of it before, but it's an awesome game.

Spent a fair bit of time with MK & MK2. Had never played them before. Not too bad, except there are no instructions for combo moves. So that's a handicap...

I have never enjoyed the old-timey collections for consoles, but they just seem to feel "right" for a portable. Am I alone on that?

I got the Namco Classic when it released with old-school Pac-Man and others, Galaga, Dig-Dug and new versions and some other goodies. Some of the classic games are definitely fun on the go, cause they are something you can pick up here or there for a quick bursts of fun anywhere and then tuck it back away. I play the original Pac Man every once and awhile on breaks at work still, no story, no plot, no character development, just quick old school fun.

I like my MK strictly console or arcade, especially MK 2. And NOT knowing the moves and combos definitely sucks, but NOT knowing the Fatalities just sucks balls. That what makes MK MK. FATALITY!! dumm dumm dumm...

yeh right! I will be amazed if one of these games is released then.... but could be bloody great if they are!

I have that Midway Ex Play.. with MK 1-3... very good!... but like you say, pointless and degrading when you know no moves!

Finally posted a new 2nd place record score in Joust (55,000). The 1st place record is over 100K, though, so I think that one's outta reach


Some of these old games that had no save option but did have continuation are great for the PSP. You can play for an hour, then use sleep mode. Come back the next day, then play for another hour, etc. You get MUCH further than you could otherwise.

Now all I need to do in convince Nintendo to give Sony permission to put some Mario games out for PSP - then I could finally beat them

If you really wanted to go through the trouble you "actually" can. But then I'd call you a cheater and all that jazz I give ppl about EMU on their PSP's, and modding in general...

I've seen sites with Mario games for download and play on the PSP. Not interested. It'd be fun to have those games, but I have no desire to do so illegally. Not to mention, I'm too lazy to go to all the hassle. Much easier to just buy the game and know it'll work properly

Oh, and there's also the bit about not having to worry about smoking your hardware.

In any event, I'll just stick to licensed games.

anyone here picked up Daxter? just picked it up myself... whoa! nice game so far!!!

i think I will trade in my Key of Heaven.. completed it, was a great great game.. but replay value.. Hmmm. they say you can play through KOH again, but I really cant be arsed.

im surprised with Daxter tho... if this is the caliber of games to come (thinking GTA, SSX, SF...etc) then my god! whats it going to be like in a years times?

saw gameplay from Tekken DR yesterday, and again..OMG! looks like another I need to pick up!

I've been thinking about getting Daxter, but I'm afraid it'll be less like the original Jak and more like Jak II.

Jak II just didn't do anything for me.

So - what's the scoop?
