I'm not entirely sure. I think it might just find the access point, give a little interactive thing (you gotta let it find one, then you 'boost' the signal up til it hits a certain point and you get a new guy.) but it never asked for which specific access point I wanted to use (out of my 4 or so presets). I think it just finds them and lets you access that little rectruitment minigame like thing. I got one from the IDM lab's wifi and the one I can pick up in my dorm room, both named LSC Public, but it was able to differentiate them I guess, but now I can't get any new guys from those two points. I'll have to try the other wifi points on campus to see.

BTW i'm starting to get into it more still. If I had less school holding me back I could probably sit down and play it a lot more. Damn education.

sounds lots of fun actually... why isnt it coming out till the last quarter of the flipping year in the UK?

why oh why do you hate us Konami? why....

it was like that with Syphon filter! meant to be out within a month or so of you guys getting it, six months later it appears! and the main difference? oh we cant play anyone but Europe!

why when i buy American Socom and American SF i can play Americans ..no lag, great online play.. loads of it. and when i play UK Medal of honor i can only play Europe?

yet there is no difference at all in the games...? we could all be playing each other!! but instead we are limited to regions yet again.

i do wonder about the PS3, I know i fret about not being able to play across the world, but it means a lot to me.. and if M$ can do it, then so should Sony Imo.

the psp is the perfect platform to do this on! and yet no one has shipped the same region of game out to the whole world!
Thats all it would take... ok ok.. a lil extra language stuff for the none English speaking countries, but all in all totally not impossible!

hope they bring a demo out for this puppy!! because i will be old and grey when its out here.. lol.

Go to work to get paid $29 an hour for 2 hours a day
Videogames til 3am
Sleep
Repeat.

That's all I want and I don't understand why the world has to get in my way.

sounds like a great plan.. I did that for a while, glad i did really.

take my advice.. buy a dishwasher, small portable fridge and a microwave... and you cant go wrong!

..but then you end up being about 30 stone and cant use your legs.. Hmmmm, ok.. keep the bike!

anyway, seems this pic has been posted on several sites, i dont know if its true.. anyone here know? seems that EB consider the PSP as 'old'....

im not dissin the DS as i like it a lot, but how can you say that the psp is old and past it when one of the first games that came out on the PSP (Tenchu) was awful.. yet one of the most recent games on the DS (tenchu) was miles and miles worse?!?!!

..and here we are with Ratchet, Tekken, Ace Combat, GTA, MGS... list goes on and on.

anyway, again my point seems that if this poster is actually true (looks dodgy to me) then what i was saying about GAME in the uk follows suit as they are the same company.

i was warned off buying a ps3 by them, and i did say in another post that i put it down to the shop assistants, but if this poster is actually a real bit of promo by EB, then i was wrong in accusing the kids behind the counter. its the men behind the desks...


ps.. im getting in to Tenchu now, look past the faults like draw distance etc.. its actually a pretty decent game. tho hard to see past the bad momemnts i agree.

i thnk DC2 should come one the PSP soon, if not on UMD, i can see it coming on the PS store... maybe you should hold on?
I think it was one of those games that sold freakin loads, so i would of thought that Sony would release those sort of games on the psp, especially now that more and more deleopers are feeling a lot more at home with te psp.

look at 300! and now news of GoW on it, superb!!

thing is tho, Prince of Persia wasnt 'that' great on the psp... i hope that GoW doesnt go the same way!

Well, I'm getting all of them cut, not just one..

I agree, if Sony is going to port games, they might as well port GREAT games, well more than they are now.

I mean, it can't be that much work to tweak the controls and everything to make it work on the psp. Thing is they overdid it and ported like crazy and lost the greatness in games like Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, Ape Escape, etc. We want more greats Sony!!

I also think I remember hearing something about a Parappa the Rapper remake from last years E3? Loved that on PS1!!
