Bought more PSP games.

Gradius Collection (awesome game)
Virtua Tennis: World Tour $10, fun game
NFS Underground Rivals $9, fun but not worth more than $20
Death Jr. $10, I rented it before and liked it.

had Virtua Tennis... loved that.

never been too impressed with Death Jr.. well apart from when I first realised they were psp images!

whats NFS like? worth picking up? better than midnight? surely not better than Burnout? tho I have completed that now, so am looking for another racer to play...

and Gradius.. ahhhh I so want that! it doesnt come out here for a bit, so I might pick it up on import.

how hard is Gradius? Gradius is one of those games thats always hard! lol.. so have they made no exception here?

NFS: UR is very much like the first NFS: Underground for the PS2. It's a fun game, I thought. Sorry, but I can't compare it to the others you named, as I never played them.

It's solid, though, for a racing game, and it's easily worth $20 if you feel like a new one (racing game, that is).

ahh yeah.. I quite liked that one. what was the loading like on psp NFS? midnight club took about 60secs to load between bits, just unacceptable.

i kind wish they bring back the original need for speed format. all those dusky roads and shortcuts, the Lambos etc.. loved those games.

I've had my PSP since just slightly after launch. So far I've bought 4 games (Wipeout, Lumines [sold], Burnout, and GTA Liberty City Stories) and 2 movies (Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed) but nothing really in almost 3/4 a year now. I could/should just trade it in for a DS Lite or some 360 games, but I really want to get LocoRoco. I've been considering picking up Dark Mirror, Katamari, and the Ghost in the Shell game for a while but I never end up doing so, it just feels wrong to spend money on a portable game that doesn't seem like it would bring a lot of worthful enjoyment.
I think I might keep it around for the PS1 emulation and LocoRoco though.. but I'd probably end up getting more use out of 360 games or the DS (my flatmate has both and a huge game library that is open for my borrowing)

::edit::
oh yeah, and I rarely ever play it, just to add to the point of the post

Yeah, I'd really like to have a daytime NFS title again...

I don't recall being annoyed by the load times, so I guess they're not that long. The only downer that comes to mind is the fact that the entire game takes place at night, so it's a little hard to see what's going on if you're playing in a sunny area.

You should definitely get Dark Mirror. It's an excellent game.

I feel your pain about trading it off, though. I've sort of been wanting a DS lately, but I'm really holding out for the PS1 emulation. To me, that will be a huge plus.

I have have those games/movies and a few more Norrec. I still want a copy of Appleseed though. (the instant I see one I can physically purchase it's mine.)

I was also gonna say get Dark Mirror, it's worth it. Also Tekken is looking VERY JUICY for a handheld. The 1st game that is looks 100% as good as the PS2 version, and "looks" as playable too.

I have the NFS games on PS2 and it felt too much the same to me. I had MNC for awhile but the load times killed it, and then they released a updated version on PS2 for $20.

My totally honest opinion, is that Appleseed is not worth buying, especially for UMD. (I have both, I don't know why.. I liked the special editions tin package)

It just wasn't that good, I think.

Loco is worth keeping your psp for.. lol, then again there’s a lot of games coming out like that! (ace combat, Vice City, Tekken....)

anyway, my GF is a ninty girl, she loves her DS.. but on playing LocoRoco on my psp.. she went out and brought one!!! with loco

ive leant her a few games and she leant me LocoRoco ..ive completed the game now, and I gotta say its brilliant. just so lovely, I could recommend it til the cows came home.

I only own four films.. Pirates of the Caribbean, Dawn of the Dead, Ghost in the shell and Akira.
Akira is just superb! love that film.

I want DAYTIME nfs.... i think its a crime that they haven’t brought one out for years. instead they think that this chav racing is better.. poo, lol.

yeah the only movies I have are Ghost in the Shell, Kill Bill vol.1, Sin City, Dave Chappelle's Live from the Filmore, and the 1st & 2nd season of Family Guy box set.

I never seen Appleseed but love anime, from the preview I saw it looked like something I'd definitely like so I wanted it. I loved the original Gundam Wing, and Ronin Warriors, Transformers, and Voltron... so yeah me likey big robots!! I'll probably get MGS novel and Advent Children since I still need those two also.

Probably trading my Monster Hunter for Valkyrie Profile credit. It'll be time better spent.
