I've got Daxter, and I love it! Haven't played it in a while because my mum has been nicking the PSP for her Lumines fix on the night shift! lol

Very accessible game imo, perfect for portable.

I don't know why I asked if you had Daxter when I know you do... I was lazy and didn't feel like looking. But I'd agree Daxter is a great game and probably one of the bet examples of console quality games on a handheld, also SF.

I just picked up Mega Man: Powered Up.

I'm actually quite underwhelmed. It's basically just a button masher, if you ask me. It's sort of like super mario bros., only theres a lot more pounding the "fire" button, and it's not fun...

I would really like to play Daxter, but every review I've read says it's just like Jak 2 and 3, and I really didn't like Jak 2 at all. I want a game that's basically an expansion pack of Jak & Daxter (the 1st game). Or possibly another Crash Bandicoot.

I considered Frogger and Tokobots, but neither was in Gamestop when I picked up Mega Man.

Anyone play either of those two games?

I read a few reviews about Tokobots and it's OK but I'd probably lean more in the direction of Daxter really. I hear it has platform elements to it , you may be pleasantly surprised.

I skipped Powered Up for Maverick Hunter X, I like it more than I would of like Powered Up.

I'd go with Tokobots if I were you though, since you don't like the Jax/Daxter games. Stay away from Frogger though... ugh

I had a lot of fun with MMPU. However, bump up the difficulty to hard, and now the game becomes extremely tough.

my GF has brought a psp! lol, she is die hard DS fan.. but after seeing Roco has decided to buy a 2nd hand one

and got the game last week. so I will be playing it over the weekend.

Katamari is a cool game, I can understand why some people dont liek the controls, but if anything its training you for the FPS movement on the face buttons of the psp, lol.

well, I'll post my impressions monday, by all acounts tho its a great game. the Gf who like I say is a ninty girl is lovin it.

its easy yet fun and a joy to play... I was a lil worried that the demo we got would be the only level like that which was as playable, but it seems that so far the games just like that.

I just hope the other level tunes are as good as the demos!

LocoRoco is one great game.

the music for the stages are no where near as catchy as the demo we got, but the different lands and worlds are bizarre to say the least.

personally I prefer this to Katamari, just seems more friendly and chilled.

I would say certainly worth picking up!! but my gf paid £35, I don’t think these games should be sold at such a price, but still it is very cool... if you can get it any cheaper then its well worth the money!

edit: on the last level now! lol... great great game. loads of personality and simple and fun fun fun to play! lots still to do even after completion.
