I disagree. You've got a high rank in RFoM but you're crap


I think Res just gives you promotion points for competing so you could be really crap but be a General just because you've played hundreds of matchs. I could be wrong.

is there any way to get 'loadsapoints' while playing ranked matches? i dont seem to get much (if any) points in unranked matches, so whats the best way of getting the points?

oh.. and am using a head set now, but either no one is using headsets or mine isnt working some how.. any presets i should know about?



EDIT.. seems the Rfom update is out tomorrow.. well, for the Americans. if true and they really do open up the servers, then we should get it in Blighty too.. and joy to the world for brand new maps.

When you start a match Dillon you need to press start and go to change squad option. You then select one of the different radio channels to talk to people in your team. This may not necessarily be the same channel for all members so you'll have to pick and choose who you want to talk to.

I'm happy about the new free maps but not the ones you have to pay for.

As for points, capture the flag matches are the way to go. 50pts per capture. Unfortunately you get no points for kills as I usually end up with the most. Serves me right for adopting the "I'll cover you while you get the glory" role.

yeh, we have to pay for the maps.. but i dont mind that. something decent to spend the money on rather than .. oh nothing, lol.

and cheers for the tip.. now i can hear everyone.. and i wish i couldnt, haha... idiots (most of them).

i keep trying to join DK's and your (gabe) games.. but you ONLY ever play capture the flag! lol anyway, i joined in last night.... shot a couple of DK's side then left, haha.. sorry DK.

how do you get motorstorm headset working? does that just work rather than having to choose a channel?

all updates should be here by this time next week, cant wait!

Hmm, I dunno.

Just so you know, when you go to join a match (when you're at the info screen showing all the players and which team they're on.) you can press triangle and swap teams, even if the team you want to change to already has more than half the players.

I'm looking forward to the update too.
