It should work out. I was playing Fallout 3 once and it froze so I just switched off my PS3... don't ever do that.
It had to rebuild my hard drive and it erased everything... this was right after getting all of the Call of Duty 5 Trophies and veteran is a bitch let me tell you. When your PS3 syncs, you'll get all of your trophies back. You shouldn't have any problems :-) As a precaution, when you get new trophies make sure the sync operation runs by checking your trophies or your profile. I'm not sure but I would imagine if it doesn't sync, and you lose your hard drive, then you won't have them when you re-sync. Hope this helps! |

i resolved the issue by putting in the prior harddrive and synching then placing the other hard drive in and waiting for a day or so to finish synching, i guess the network communicates with your game data saved on hd. so i wonder where the miscelaneous save data is stored that keeps track of trophy data; maybe the system ram. but the thing is it resolved itself after switching the hard drives and back again and synching in between. i would thing that if the trophy data is a network issue that the hard drive would not play a part other than configuration settings for the system. but i would also assume that the information is stored randomly from ram cached and saved locally , so i guess thats why it resolved when i switched hard drives.
