I wonder if all this server issue crap has effected Kojima in production, they have now lost a week in terms of feed back... this really dissapoints me. I feel the game will be slightly worse because they will not have that extra week to put stuff in....

I mean. The beta ends on May 11!
They will then have 1 week to finish the game before it has to go gold and ship around the word...

Thats hardcore.

Guess we will get a patch early on for all the stuff they cant get in that one week

I think all they need is player feedback and to check how many servers they need for the demand that will come, they sure underestimated how many people would want to join on the beta. As their konami portal site's bandwidth got eaten up very fast. But things may differ when you put it out live, instead of just testing it on closed network.

i dont think the delay/online problems are anything to do with Kojima.. but i bet he's fkg mad! lol

how could they underestimate the popularity of MGS online? well they did... utter madess.

I think the biggest problem was the mess up with the EU. Because the States and Japan got beta keys with their preorders it meant that area of online play could be controlled to a certain degree.

I personally believe that Europe was kinda forgotten about (again), and it was too late to issue everyone who had preordered the MGS4 with Beta Keys. maybe the EU issued preorders too soon? i dont know..

But that whole mess up obviously prompted Konami to free up the entire beta for the EU, but seeing as every man, dog, duck, french guy in Europe wanted a piece of the action, I just think they didnt fathom it would be this popular.

so yes, im saying you guys cant play MGO yet because we messed it up for you! ...maybe.
