Default Anyone thinking of buying Lair now the patch has been announced?

I certainly am.. I was inches away from buying it for months now, so I might just go an pick it up, its pretty cheap by me now, so I figure I should pick it up before the price goes back up when the patch comes out

But if it’s true and the patch of the control ‘really’ make that much difference, then personally I’m looking forward to this very much.

I have always been tempted to buy it if I could get it in the cheap bins but I'm more interested in the sixaxis controls rather than the patched analogue ones

Yeah, the upcoming patch I'm sort of curious now. I've heard alot of mixed things about the game, but I've not been fond of the sixaxis controls, so I'm not really even willing to give it a chance till then.

i dont mind sixaxis controls, after all a lot of game son the PSN make you use them, so im kind of use to them now.

i think it will be an interesting game, but although its even £25 in some places, when this patch comes out, i bet they put it back up to £30!

anyway, should be a quality patch, just hope its soon!

I have in it standing in my gaming shelf, but I have not yet put it in my PS3.

I live by the "too many game, too little time" luxury problem at the moment.

Now its all on UT3 on PS3

I hate you Blinkboy.

I more of a "not much time and still not enough games to fill it." person at the moment.

I'm in the same boat as you Blink... too many games and not enough time to play em all, yet I still buy games on launch day, lol. I still have games I bought last year at full price still in the plastic, that are at greatest hit prices now! I'm crazy I guess... crazy for games!!!

Well, I think I hate you too Mista. There are plenty of games I like that I would like but I just can't manage it while running a house. I need a better paid job.

Ok - Lair update got released today. Will this maybe revive the game?

What do you guys think? =) The update/download is free. Well it sure should be too.

I will put in the game disc in my PS3 for the first time tonight and see (bought game half year ago) if I can enjoy it.

Lets hope the spirit of the game will be revived, Factor 5 have managed to throw in a phoenix down, it might make it back.

Overall I am positive about it. I will report back shortly.

Motion control or not. This is a factor 5 game. It can't be that good.
