Question on PS3 HD
ok so i just bought a 32 inch sony vizio and i was wondering if any HDMI cable will work for the ps3 or is there a special ps3 HD cable i need to buy? thanks for the help

yes any will work, the official cable is a pretty good price and does the job nicely but you can probably get a cheaper one that works just as well

I thought Sony and Vizio were two different brands?
Anywho, HDMI is HDMI. Just about every cable I've seen is of excellent quality. |

ok i have another problem that needs assistance. so i had to return the Vizio TV because it didnt support the use of surround sound (who in the hell dosent have audio outputs on tv's this day and age?). so i connected the ps3 back to my old standadrd tv using the Red White and yellow cords, but i dont have an image on my tv. why is this? (the cables are all connected in the right place.) i was using the HD cables to connect to the HD TV, is there something i need to change?

ok, never mind i figured it out by going to the playstation website. for future reference for anyone else who doesn't know, when you go back and forth from HD to componet, you have to press down on front power button for 5 seconds and it resets the screen resolution to default.

 Whenever I moved my PS3 up and down stairs I thought I had to go into the screen settings and change it. You've saved me some time there.
