The minor items are a delay for the DMC demo and a delay in the release of Haze. Both of these I can comfortably live with.

More disturbingly is the news that Splinter Cell: Conviction will not be released on the PS3. Unless the reason is an exclusive contract with Microsoft then they need to pull their finger out of their ass and put the work in to develop the PS3 version. If your developers aren't up to the job then fire them and recruit better ones.
I'll be honest and say that I probably wouldn't buy it any way but I know there are plenty of people who would.

The disappointment for me was with THQ and the disappearance of Frontlines from the PS3 release line-up. I dl'd the 360 demo and loved it and I just cannot see how this decision could make any sense.

Granted, the PS3 already has some top wargames both 1st and 3rd person titles, yet I really wouldn't have expected Frontlines to struggle to compete.

This is one game I would have put my hand in my wallet for so I guess THQ will have to live without my money.

DMC is already on the Jp store apparently..

im personally not upset by Sphincter hell, i have started to like them over the years, but i wouldnt be surprised if we got some crappy port.

also, you have to wonder how much money MS paid Ubisoft.. i know that it sounds like im gossiping, but its something Microsoft do (look at GTA.. lol.. )
maybe its because they dont have MGS4, they have to have some sort of stealth game, i wonder if that was worth 50 million like GTA? either way, i think we have the better of the deal if you dont own a 360.

THQ..Noooo what about Red Faction?????????? thats the only game im worried about! true about Frontlines, i was looking forward to that, but not only does it give CoD4 a few more months of play (which im happy about).. but it also means that i can buy the new Battlefield game and not feel like i should have that AND frontlines.. so im happy.

because you know the new Battlefield will be awesome.

as for the decission on Frontlines.... well, who knows whats been said behind closed doors. they already said earlier in the week how it wasnt cancelled.. and now they said it is. but its the fact that they actually said "its not cancelled".. they could of just said nothing,. whether or not that is a sign i dont know.

meh, the DMC4 demo is at the JP and HK stores, AU/UK got screwed I guess, the US version I believe will make it, will know soon I guess. I downloaded the XBOX360 demo of it this morning at 7am US-EASTERN and I have to say, it's pwnage! I'm looking forward to downloading the PS3 version to make a comparison.

THQ dropping games sucks, but none of them I was interested in, and having both consoles at my fingers enables me to not worry about exclusives, although I am and always will be pro Sony (sony a/v receiver, sony dvd, sony cd player, ps3, ps2, psp)

Regardless, this year will be the year of the PS3 I think. So let the bad news go with a grain of sand, because Microsoft's big guns are at an end, and Sony is about to pull out the cannons.

I know a few people upset about THQ, but they'll live. Between DMC4, MGS4, GT5, FFXIII, ppl will be happy. @home needs to make it's way soon too.

Conviction has been a 360 'exclusive' for a while, FYI. Although I'm not sure if it's a timed exclusive or not.
