I'm not a fan of Burnout but I'll give the demo a fair go. In my opinion it's good for a half hour gaming session then it gets boring.

I tried that, and I liked it, especially the online part. It kept me entertained for a while, and I kept playing it. Hopefully, I can get it for my birthday or Christmas. If I'm lucky, I can scrape up enough money to buy the game myself.

i loved the demo, but i have issues...


tonight i invited my mate from Essex and Manaknight for a game, we all kinda connected but even though they were apparently in the game, i couldnt play them.

this has happened a lot recently.. i just hope that i wont spend my money on a game that i will only be able to play my mates 50% of the time... because lets face it.. anyone whos played BO online, will mostly play online with their mates. offline its an endless game of driving..online its fun fun FUN! i just hope that online is improved.

the other thing i noticed, and maybe Barrat can confirm if he noticed.. when i was playing, it said that only four people could join.. but recently the servers opened up to eight.. i have played with eight people before.. so why only four now????

anyway, yes when its working its a top top game.

The news feed on the demo did say it would act up and even stop working alltogether in preperation for the full game in a weeks time, the full game should be fine, SHOULD lol

The demo didn't set my eyes ablaze but I have seen a review on gamer.tv and it looks decent. Yet another game I'd like but will probably never get, not without selling one kidney and both my testicles.

to be honest Gabe, if youre a GT man over arcade racing.. wait for GT5p.


dont get me wrong, this game is amazing.. the true meaning of the word "Fkg'ell" ...but its rather homely to the genre it represents, and if you dont like running around miles and miles of city just doing races on the fly, stunts and other mad things.. then its probably not your cup of tea.

There are a few things i could REALLY live without on the game... on one hand its trying to be 'real' so if you mess up a race you have to go back to where the race started from, theres no instant "start again" button.

also if you stupidly enter a race that you have already done or one that you just dont want to do.. there isnt a quit option from what i can see..

theres a few other niggles, but those two do get on my nerves.


But my biggest gripe is EA! im not going to clap my hands in honour of a great great game by EA as it was Criterion who made it. But WHY oh WHY ..IF these are made up cars in a fantasy city.. do we have real advertising?

so far Ive seem Gillette, Burger King and a clothing company who's name escapes me. but why are they there? why in this fake city with fake cars do we have real adverts..?! its immoral.

Those sort of ADs don't annoy me so much, what does annoy is the sponsored cars the U.S get, they have a Walmart, circuit city etc, I worked hard to get the thirty odd cars Ive have, some @ss on my buddy list got the game tuesday and on that day he had the car you start off with and the Walmart car by entering a code(if you haven't seen it I won't spoil it for you all I'll say is its crazy fast), that thing is way faster than anything Ive have, hes done nothing to earn it and hes able to stomp people day 1.

The ADs your talking about dill I can deal with, the ones like the sponsored cars that actually affect me piss me off.
the other thing is that the U.S get games with online weeks or even months before us, so they get some practice and stomp us when we get in or like in this case we get the game the same week and we're still at a disadvantage coz they've given the U.S some stupidly fast cars to start with due to some sponsorship deal as if you can read "Walmart" on a car when your both going a million mph.
