I agree with the bias, I posted it mainly for the facts that tied into what I was saying. Blu-Ray can claim more players because of the PS3; HD-DVD can apparently claim more dedicated players specifically bought for HD movies; Blu-Ray can claim more movies sold overall; HD-DVD can claim more movies bought per player...

Blu-Ray comes across as being in the slightly stronger position, but not strong enough to write HD-DVD out of the running. Certainly not strong enough for me to have anything to do with what may be physical media's last (pointless) format war.
