You can check the Warhawk FAQ over at the official PlayStation blog again, but I believe Warhawk does support offline split-screen for 2-4 players. I assume they mean for both the downloadable and Blu-Ray versions, but of course, as you say, you wouldn't be able to take the game anywhere if you got the downloadable one.

you can have online split screen aswell, tho your guest would be called DarthKoth(2) as the guest can't use his/her own account

it doesnt allow you to install the BD for play without the disk

from the FAQ.. "If I buy the retail version, do I have to have the Blu-ray in my PS3 to run Warhawk?
Yes. “Reluctant Hero” asked about this Wednesday, but sorry man. But hey, one of the many advantages of the BD is that when you power-up your PS3 you can boot directly into the game."

ahh well.. looks like im talking myself in to buying the dl version.. i checked out a few websites and everyone reckons the file will be about 800meg, lol if true.. that would be great! i have demos that are larger than that!!

oh.. and seems that you can also share the game like Tekken.. not that i have, but apparently its possible.

tut tut Dillon. Do they realise people can do this? I'd have thought they'd have figured out a way to log if you are playing a game which you haven't paid to download.

Norrec makes a good point about not being able to take your copy to use on a mates machine.

ok.. ive rewritten my answer Gabe.. i did write that Dylan Jobe said that you are allowed to share with 5 other ps3's.. like you can with Tekken and other full PSN games (apparently, though i have never shared so dont really know the in's and out's).

BUT in actual fact, Jobe DIDNT say you could, but this is a question from the blog

I think PSXE have a news story on this now. Not sure what your options are if your machine dies and you need to redownload. Seems a bit crppy to me just to avoid a bit of piracy.

to be honest, i dont need to share it.. so it doesnt bother me. in fact i dont need to share any games...

they are cheap enough for someone to afford imo.

Ive downloaded it, I already have a decent headset anyway, so, theres no way im paying nearly £50 for a game which I can get for £20...!
