The demo put me ofgf. Although it is quite nice looking it just pissed me off when I had to have several attempts to jump up a wall or later int he demo where you are fighting the white ninjas I kept falling down the hole because of the camera position. I just got fed up with it.

its a top top game.. but rather steeeeeep learning curve.. i hate to say it but yes, i am playing on 'ninja dog level'.. its hard and stuff, ahem.

mind you, they say that they make games for the UK harder than they do for Japan, and i must say i think that the first level in the full game is harder than in the demo.

still if its your bag, its a great game!

apparently its exactly like, just much better in the looks dept...

ben said he was getting it, i assume he's played the xbox version, so if he's the one writing the review, hopefully he'll point out all the changes.
personally i love it, but i may get bored after a while, we'll see, tho i cant stress enough how amazing it plays and looks!!

I was about to buy it but then put it down. I'm still considering to buy it. I would also like to hear what people think of the game.

Well.. think Onimusha mixed with a dash of DMC.. but in 1080i (or p) and with knobs on! It’s a hell of a ride, but its hard. Or like I say the PAL version is.
Very very linear, but already I have seen things that I have missed and cant go back to, yet have collected items to help me in previous levels.. so obviously if you like replaying a game then this is for you. As I think its designed to be played over and over. No online, but if you have that Demo and have played it to death, the amount you have played it ..it gives you yellow orbs I think, and these are used as money through out the game. So you can upgrade your weps, have more health bottles, move scrolls etc etc..

It’s a great game. But im starting to tire of it.. im like that with linear games, I love em and Onimusha is one of my favs.. but I do get tired quickly, so I don’t know how long I will last on it. But if that’s your sort of game, I think personally you couldn’t pick up a better game.. not unless you haven’t ever played GOD of WAR, which is superb.. but again I tired of that in the end. Im like that with linear

But if I had to grade this game its an easy 9/10… very fun at the mo.

Im torn whether to get it or not aswel.
And my stupid local game shop doesnt rent new games out!

I didnt think the demo was amazing, I just thought it was ok so thats putting me off.

I also didnt think their were many combo moves etc.. you could perform.
Was that limited on the demo?
I think ive just been spoilt by God of War.

NG was one of the toughest games of the last generation; in the top 5 in terms of difficulty, I think. It's right up there with DMC 3 (NOT the SE), Stuntman, Shinobi, and Viewtiful Joe. So don't be surprised if Sigma kicks your ass every now and then.

I beat the game on Normal, and considering I'm not the greatest at games like this, I considered that a major accomplishment (also beat DMC 3 on "Normal," which was actually Hard). I'm sure Sigma is every bit as hard as the original NG, despite the new weapons you have. I played the demo, and was instantly reminded of how difficult the game is. I don't remember the camera being THAT problematic, though...guess I've been spoiled by better cameras over the past few years.

But it's still a fantastic title, and the original was possibly the best pure action game of the Xbox generation.
