Sigma owns, and Dillon you are SO wrong that it's just like the original. It's WAY WAY WAY better in every way.

Yeah, the differences between the original and Sigma are huuuge. They might as well be two different games.

It is hard as a ****, though and that's coming from someone who also beat DMC3 on Normal.

Oh and I'm the one reviewing it.

haha...

ive only played it for 5 mins on the xbox before, so i was only hypothesizing on it being the same.

and i totally agree.. its incredible, and i love it.. i really really do.

i just know what im like with these type of games.. i will get to saturation point, but at the moment im enjoying it a lot!

but its sooo hard, hehe.. but i am a ninja dog, and i must bark like one. "woof"

so youre reviewing it? cool... well, sounds like you have the gist of how awesome it is already!

After what Ben, Arnold and Ryan have just said it looks like im going to have to seriously consider getting it.

My next game was going to be The Darkness.

Dont want to get both at the minute, so for the time being which should I get?
Im not really into FPS's more than action games so the type of genre wont sway me. Which game will give me more hours of play and more fun?

I loved The Darkness - have been considering a replay ever since completing it - but you will certainly get more bang for your buck with NGS. Up against most any other game for the PS3 (except maybe Resistance or Oblivion), I'd recommend The Darkness, but in this case, Sigma is just too good. It'll also take you a solid 20 hours - or more - while Darkness will only take about 10-12 hours.

Provided you don't mind a very stiff challenge in NGS, that's the one you need. But you should also get The Darkness ASAP after picking up Sigma; it's just pure brutal entertainment from top to bottom, and it's not very hard at all.

I actually went to trade in Virtua Tennis this morning for NGS.
They said over the phone they'd give me £28 trade in or £20 cash for it so I was happy with the £28... until I totally forgot that high street shops are selling NGS at £49.99!
I was expecting play.com prices of £39.99 lol.

So I think im going to see if I can get more than £20 on ebay and get NGS from play.
