so, year one of the PS3's life and we are seeing this sort of playable graphics.. oh lordy!

dont retire Hideo.. please dont. i just hope to god theres other guys out there that understand th PS3 as well as he does..

but saying that, now that the world has seen this, they will hang their head in shame. because it wasnt that long ago a lot of them said that it was too hard to program on the ps3.. wimps!


yeh, for me the highlights were the camo, draw distance.. fkg ell! and everything that cAt said

Taking a mini break from a complete image capture of that vid that will be posted later on today. I've been going through it frame by frame. I really really really hope that Hideo included a rumble feature in it for a possible future "rumble" option. The close quarter combat and gun fire/explosions need that rumble. Since it played a huge factor in MGS1, he might include it. If it goes 360 at a later point in time it might be in there. The explosion flashes are insane and the battle field is so alive with action and weather effects. I'll post the "best" of pics after I'm done. I can't post them all (I'm looking at atleast 150 caps lol)

though not sure about going to 360.. i read a report that basically said that Hideo said it wouldnt go on 360 due to tech, but thats not saying it wont! lol..

it wouldnt surprise me if MGS4 was fully rumbled up, no point saying anything about it at the moment i guess, but i can imagine that as soon as the first wave of pads come out, he will announce that MGS4 is compatible.

tho i hope that they have sorted out the batt drain on the rumble feature.. i guess they just need some sort sleep mode for it.. but hey ho..

EDIT: go to the JP PSN store and find that this trailer is there for download!!! so we wont have to squint to see how incredible it looks
