I am close to finish my first RPG on PS3, Enchanted Arms. It is an ok first-RPG on the system. Thinking of beating the Holy Beast Shrine before I finish it off and put it away for a while.
Please discuss this game with me if you like.

I see a bright light in the RPG future games like White Knight Story and Final Fantasy XIII.

Is there any other RPGs to look out for in the future?

I am hoping there will be more rpg's for the PS3. Right now I'm looking forward to "persona" for the PS2.

I think you can expect to see a lot of great RPGs down the road. Obviously, you can start with Square-Enix and the likes of Final Fantasy XIII and The Last Remnant; both of which look amazing (stay tuned for our Remnant preview, going up for tomorrow). We also have a video for White Knight Story that is just incredible (check it out at in our PS3 videos), and there are many others scheduled.

The thing is, there are many niche Japanese RPG developers that will stay loyal to the PS3 the same way they stayed loyal to the PS2. Companies like Atlus and Nippon Ichi, for example, are likely to develop more great RPGs for Sony's next-gen console. Even though there are many more multiplatform games this generation, I still believe the PS3 will end up being the best system for RPGs, just like the PS2 was - clearly - the last generation.

I'm sure atleast by the end of this year, the PS3 get's Final Fantasy XI with the new expansion coming out. Also a official game disc also. The base installed unit has picked up and there's a alot of people who have played XI on other systems.

I don't think it's a case of RPG's not being made (even with the PS2 generation) it's more whether they'll make it to UK and US shores.

I hope to see lots more RPG's hitting the UK in the next few years.

I wouldn't say no to a remake of Vagrant Story
