Default Guitar Hero2 and PS2-PS3 connectors plus other PS2 titles

erm.... this could be in the help section, butits more of a discussion on games and why some B/C just dont work on the PS3.

thing is that GT4 imo looked better without the smoothing, and im questioning the upscaling of GT4 too... FF12 looks just as bad and again i think it looks worse smoothed out.

are they 'really' improving the playability of 'TOP' ps2 titles on the ps3 for the EU?

games like Wipeout fusion, army men or GTA3 or GT3... great well done Sony, but top titles like FF12, GTA: SA, GT4 and GH2 have still been left to rot imo. i think its outragious.

this brings me on to my question that could be in the help bit.. but im tagging it on here now i have your attention

i have a ps2-ps3 conector that allows you to use PS2 pads on a PS3, but when i use GH2... only two of the new (fret) buttons work!! im sure they are the shoulder buttons on a normal pad if you were to use it.

anyway, is anyone playing GH2 on the PS3 with a guitar? what connector are you using.. and if youre not but you know of the cable.. where can i get one from?

apparently this isnt a GH2 problem, its a EMU problem, how true that is ..i just dont know. but going by what sony havent done for us in the EU for porting the games over, i wouldnt be surprised if it is just a lazy time had by Sony.

EDIT:is the Pelican PS2/PS3 adapter what i need? the adapter i have hase a menu button that you hold down and acts as a PSbutton, get only two fret keys work, does anyone know if this actually works this pelican?

Re EDIT: seems the pelican adapter is utter crud.. im going to find out if the 360's guitar works on the ps3 for GH2...

Yeah I have the Pelican PS2/PS3 adapter and it constantly throws itself into lefty flip when playing GH2. GH1 and and my old PS2 controllers on PS2 games work just fine though. I'm putting all my GH needs on hold until the real PS3 guitar comes out with GH3. I just sold both of my wireless guitars, I figure the new one should work just fine on the previous 2 games. (Actually 3 If ya count the Rock the 80's one next month.)
