I have been checking out reviews lately because I am intrigue about this console war going on among these three popular gaming consoles nowadays. Based on what I found, I regret to say that PS3 is at the bottom of the field at the moment. I searched for clues as to the reason for this debacle and I come upon this review by KickStartNews.com which gives it a negative rating. I don't want to divulge further what's on the review. I leave it to the reader to find out why. Just my 2 cents.

Already got mine.

Its a blast to play Oblivion and FOM: Resistance.

Where the PS3 really shines is in its ability to play net downloaded "home movies" in X264 format in full HD1080 versus the pixelated .avi formats that I USED to download as these days I only want X264 movies in full HD1080 with at minimum dolby digital 5.1 sound.

And yes its a shiny future with X264 playback.

As far as .avi formats: hit the road Jack and dont you come back no more, no more, hit the road Jack and dont you come back no more, no more........
