Iam playing Chase the express, or Covert ops as some call it, and I have a couple of cheats I want to use. The instructions are to pause the game then input the code. Problem is, you CAN'T pause the game at all !!!.
If you press start, you get the itinery, weapons, health, etc, and if you press select, all you get is the options. Yet on psxextreme, it says to press start during play and input the code !! This can't be done !!. Am I missing something here??

Everything I find simple says pause the game so I would try pressing start and inputting the code. If that doesn't work then try select. Although you may end up selecting things in the options doesn't necessarily mean the code isn't working.

Like I say, if you press start, all you get is the itinery, ( you are supposed to hear a squeal when you do it. shades of Tombraider ???)
and if you press select, all you get are the options. I have tried both methods many times, but to no avail. You just can't do it for some reason.
The vast majority of games do have the pause feature as you know yourself. But for some reason, this one does not, or if it does, I'll be damned if I can find it !!
