hiya all,
this is my first time on the forum and this seems like the place to learn being an old starter to the ps2. i have read that i can transfer the money, licenses and cars from gt3 to gt4 by using gt3 save and gt4 prologue save. if this is possible, could someone out there help me? i really would be thankful.

Think you've been misled with GT3 crossover saves but I seem to remember if you have a prologue save on your memory card, you automatically get the basic licences passed on your new GT4 game. It's been a while since I looked at it I'm afraid.

yep.. if you have a complete save from GT3 (it may have to be a 100% save??!?) have that game save on the same mem card as your new GT4 save. the 1,000,000 credits will automatically transfer over when you play GT4 for the first time. im not sure it works if youre half way through GT4 at the time you put the GT3 save on the same mem card

im not sure about licenses because you had GT4 prologue that came out.. and you transfered licenses from that to GT4.

All you need is a GT3 save for GT4 to read when in your garage in Simulation mode. If you have a lot of money, you'll be given a large sum of credits for car purchases. If you have completed the first two license test groups in GT3, then the two groups will automatically be completed for you in GT4.

In the UK you can't get 100% in GT3 I don't think as part of the game was removed for our release and the % was never reset.

you can if you use a Action replay cheat.. thats what i did

The bug was fixed in later versions of the game.
