I would say that it is worth the risk. The game has been made and would be played by thousands. Only a handful of those would commit crimes and blame it on the games. Why should someone stop me playing and the other however many thousands just because of the few? I don't care if it's just entertainment or something integral to society. The principles are the same.
I think the majority of accidents are caused by people not paying attention and as this is more common than the psychosis of videogame players that only makes the anti car arguement more significant that the anti videogame one. Also, I never said that you were pro videogame banning. For me to mentally justify the banning of something it would have to cause adverse reactions to a significant percentage of users.

It's still possible it will get released anyway if there is enough of an outcry about banning it.
