Default Anyone playing Odin Sphere?

I'm going through the game right now for the official review (should be up tomorrow night or so), and while I'm not going to be offering any specific comments on the gameplay, I will say it's..... an interesting title, and quite a pretty one, if a bit sluggish on some of the technical details.

I know we have some RPG fans on the boards who might be looking forward to it, especially at the budget title price of $30.

I saw movies from it, and while the 2D graphics look interesting, the gameplay didn't seem that interesting to me. I'll wait till it's $20. :P

Certain gameplay aspects are indeed very interesting, but the combat is about as shallow as it comes. It depends on what you're looking for in an RPG, I suppose.

RPG = Role-Playing Game (i.e., Final Fantasy, Baldurs Gate, etc.)

OK thanks, I've played Baldurs Gate 2, it ain't 2 bad, I jus like RPGs where u dnt view the game screen from the top, coz u get more action, even though the other compliments by giving more adventure

I have it. The combat is a little tedious, the graphics are damn sexy, and is the last PS2 rpg I'll purchase.

I just got Tomb Raider Anniversary and it's freaking sweet. Out of the rest of the PS2's lineup, it looks like it will be the last PS2 game I purchase. Glad it was a good game!

Is Tomb Raider really that good, last time I saw it, it just reminded me of Primal, I didnt feel like going through that again, is it really good?
