Basically when I was breaking up with my ex wife I was playing Dark Cloud 2 (Dark Chronicles in the UK)..

You see, it starts off like any other RPG, and at some point you will say to yourself that it’s a rather kiddie type game, but trust me.. this game sucks you in like no other.


Have you ever watched Akira? Well if you haven’t (im not going to tell you the storyline!) but Akira is the sort of film that totally blows you away. You sit down to watch this film and at the end of it all you sit there and thing “whoa”.. didn’t see that coming.

Same with Dark Cloud 2.. Starts off as a ‘nice’ lil RPG, then it gets deep, then it turns you on your head and before you realise it you’re the most important thing on earth.. it does all these things so well. A game that I will always have amazing memories of.


How did it contribute to my break up? Of course it didn’t really, but one of the last things I remember her saying to me was “all you fkg do is play that fkg game day in day out”.. well, maybe if you wernt so off your head all the time I wouldn’t be.. but that’s a different story.

You will enjoy it and you will love it, I hope you do anyway!! Just remember that when you think “is this all there is”.. it will get sooo much better and deeper and more important than most other RPG’s out there.


The best RPG’s Ive played on the PS2 are DC2 and FFXIII, both worth owning.

I like it a lot, man, has turbo and even slow down, which can be a helpful feature occasionally. Very comfortable to the hands, which helps, the ps2 dual shock can leave something to be desired in that area. Main thing is i think it will really help with the shooters and games like God of War and DMC which require so much continual button pushing, always nice to have some help in that area! Im moving through ZOE pretty good right about now...

ZoE is an amazing game, that and ZoE2.

I honestly think that Hideo will make a sequel on the PS3 when MGS4 is out the way.. i can feel it in ma bones.

pad sounds great, hopefuly they will start making things like this that are reliable for the PS3!

ZOE 2 is what im playing now, actually, its really good! Definitely a classic, i played the original ZOE back when it first came out. I have several good ps2 games just sitting around, may as well play em while they work on those ps3 things, lol, maybe by XMAS, man! Loving it, probably hit Dark Cloud 2 when im done with ZOE 2. On a side note, sold Shadowhearts Covenant on a site i discovered from PSXE several years ago, and one of my favs, Half.com. Got $26 for it and it sold immediately upon placing the ad!

in the UK you would get max £5 to £2 each for them. unfortunatly there is nothing rare there

now if you had a MGS3 or ZoE in there.. Ico or SotC might of got you up to £10-15.

you see a game like PS1 Star Ocean 2 could set you back anything between £80 and £100, which is totally mad.

the only game i have that i never sold because i think its really worth something (apart from Star Ocean 2) is my ltd ed Wipeout for PS2...

a friend of mine used to know a PR agent who use to promote games, and he had one of nine ltd ed hologram Wipeout boxes.. its basically the game with a press release disk but the box is the pic of the normal box, but in a 7 phase hologram (which apparently is rare in itself)...

anal... me? lol


anyway, enough of me... Coty, if you sell em all, you might be surprised then again you might be dissapointed, but if you trade them, you will get a better price!

well i was hopeing to get maby 100 out of all of them, and i know that nun of them are rare,but i do have some really old ps1 games i have had stord for like 9 years and when i bought them they was really old so now maby ill get more out of them.......ill post the names of them l8er
