No games have failed me yet on my ps2 and out of 40 39 of them work.

As a gaming collector, I've got a 60GB PS3(now a 750GB) & a newer 320GB slim(now a 1-T GB), but I still have all of my 2 PS2's(a Phat black, & a white Sing-Song slim, a PS1 & a PSX, still hooked up.

And I'm still always looking around hoping to find more cheap, missing PS1 & PS2 titles to add into my collections, so when I get them, I also sample each of them to see if they're a game I still wouldn't mind playing.

So right now in my Playstation collections, I've got 195 PS3 games, 486 PS2 games, 572 PS1 games, 4 Vita games, and 100 games/20 movies & TV shows/8 music videos in my PSP's UMD collection.......(so far).

Oh BTW,
Anyone who still wants a cheap used or refurbed PS2, GameStop has the Phat PS2 used for $29,99 & the used PS2 Slim for $39.99.

And don't forget that whatever stock of new PS2's that GameStop has are now sold for the used price.

My slim still works great. My phat died on me earlier, have no idea why, maybe I didn't elevate the console high enough, dust is the killer. I think there is one game that freezes on me during some missions.

PS2 was and is amazing... I wish I still had one. even though I have no need for some games, I still have about ten PS2 games that I just cant part with, silly really considering I will never play them again.
