Default Favorite Playstation game of all time?

I doubt it will surprise anyone when I say Metal Gear Solid. That game made me an instant and permanent Kojima fanboy.

I defy you to name a Playstation game that is better.

Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Cross, MGS1, and GT2. Don't make me choose between either one of them. I'd rather choose my favorite child...that is, of course, when I have some.

Since you have a good list, I will not force you to make a choice, but you're getting light, pal!

Final Fantasy Tactics

Many may not agree with me but it's in my Top 5 greatest games of all time and it's on the PS1.

Now it's probably MGS, but at the time it was definitely Syphon Filter. Although if you want to go strictly by how much time I wasted on a game, it was either Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, or the Madden Games.

Kinda funny you mention MGS seeing as it was the same day that i bought it that i started playing Tenchu, which is easily one of my favorite games of all time. I personally enjoyed XenoSaga a great deal, without a doubt FFVII and very defiinitely Tactics. The original Gran Turismo had me absorbed for days. Oh here you go, i musta played 200 PS games, so those are a few of what i considered real good games. PS was the system of choice, the system that changed gaming pretty much forever with all the support and great games constantly flowing from developers...

FFVII and MGS for me. If I had to choose I'd say FFVII, but both games completely changed the way I play and have had massive effects on my gaming that still shows even now.

The PSX had tons of brilliant games, although I'm finding it hard to specify to just a few more, I loved pretty much everything I played on it.
