I just saw the Green Zone earlier today. While the story was interesting and the film had its moments, the plot was poorly executed and the characters had stock personalities. They said and did thing just as you expected them to do. If I had to use one word to sum up this movie I'd use cliché. Green Zone is a film I just can't really recommend for anything beyond a rental.

Finished Boondock Saints 2 last night, and it didnt dissapoint. There are some very stylized and beutifully shot action sequnces throught out, and the comedy between the characters is fantastic.

We went and saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox at the dollar theater, yesterday, and I thought it was great. Enjoyed the dialogue, the humor, all of it. The kids enjoyed it as well.

The cuss... LOL

Ok guys I have a dilema tomorrow night my cousin has said I can choose to see either Shutter Island or The Crazies as it is my turn to pick and they both start at roughly the same time.

So what are peoples views who have seen them if you have seen them both ? I am leaning more to The Crazies to be honest as I like that type of movie but have heard a few say Shutter Island is good too.

I haven't seen either one but I'd have to say that Shutter Island looks to be a film that has a good story, great dialogue and lots of intrigue in it. I want to see The Crazies because that looks sooo funny so decide if you want a serious film or if you'd rather just get a bed pan ready and let loose.

Rotten Tomatoes has Shutter Island rated at 67% Fresh and The Crazies at 72% Fresh.

I watched Gigantic, last night, and that was an odd one. It was slow moving yet kept me interested enough to wonder where it was going. The dialogue and interactions were odd and it makes me think that they really didn't have much direction before they set out to make this movie. When the film ended, I still had an incomplete feeling.

I saw the crazies and then snuck into shutter island. lol. the crazies wasnt a bad movie, reminded me of movies like the 28 days/weeks later films. although i preferred the latter movies. shutter island was pretty good. i liked it. by some sort of miracle i called the ending about halfway through, but for most people it will be a twist. i recommend both films.

I seen Shutter Island last night and really enjoyed it, It goes a bit nuts in the middle trying to follow the story but then towards the end it all clicks into place really worthy of a watch. I also called the ending halfway through brilliant it was I really enjoyed it.

Going to watch The Crazies tonight. Looking forward to that one. It reminds me of 28 Days/Weeks Later too Mikerlz.
