Watched The Invention of Lying the other day, its ok, funny in places but with Gervais's style of comedy, it seems its had to be 'sugared up' for the US/mass market.
Another film i watched recently that really stood out for its shear creepiness in a Ringu/Ju-on style is a title called Shutter. Watch the original Thai version though, not the US remake, its much much better. Big thumbs up for that one. |

Sorry, come up with what? The Japanese film "Ringu" is referred to as "The Ring" in the US, and the Japanese film "Ju-on" is "The Grudge". I'm not saying that's what they translate to or anything like that.

We were going to see Nine but ended up seeing G-Force instead. Hey, it was my son's turn to pick a flick and that's what he wanted to see. We'll probably just get it on blu-ray later on. That reminds me... wasn't Drag Me to Hell just in the theaters not too long ago? I already saw it advertised at Fry's today for $23 or $24. That's damn fast.

Movies named Nine and 9 came out this year. That's just intentionally confusing. Luckily that's the only thing the two films have in common. Obviously you're both talking about the animated film. I'm just sayin'. Anyway, be sure to say what you thought of 9 because I'm curious about it.
