Saw both Death Note movies, another series where I side with the anti hero doesnt happen often but I really feel for Light. Light and Dexter are completely compeling characters worthy of thier own series be it movies of T.V.

Did anyone else think Mutant Chronicles was kinda cool?

The way it Mutant Cronicles was filmed took me out of it, the bleached look of the movie is something I really dislike. If you are going to go that far just make it Black and White. Really couldnt watch it because of that. Heard it was kind of corny and campy too which I love, too bad.

Sadly it wasn't trying to be campy, but I liked the art direction and the washed out look because then they made the blood extra red to offset it. And the fact that a future war on an earth with few resources left had the humans and machines (despite the coal burning airships) basically looking and fighting like they did in WWI. It was a neat study in my opinion, even if the plot was kind of cheap.

I actually kind of liked Mutant Chronicles too. It wasn't anything spectacular, but I didn't think it was as poor as its critical reception.

I tried watching it. But I personally hate that bleached washed effect I'm totally positve I would love it but that film texture Fs me up I cannot watch any movie like that. Payback and the new Harry Potter are the same.

But Halloween coming soon (I feel the air changing) I'm about to start recomending some cool obscure horror/Psyco Thiller titles might even start a new thread.

To get it started off. The Ugly a great Psycho Thiller from New Zealand. Got a mix of Fight Club and Silence of the Lambs. I got my copy from Blockbuter. It is a do not miss title I absolutly love it even watched it today to make sure it was good enough. Won't describe in detail please check it out the slyle, story, and design are all tops.
