I watched it on Fox on Sunday. It was aired 5 hours after it had already started... And they're so time limited, you don't get to see anything other than the race. Everything before it, and everything after (interviews, closing...) are cut out. Was going to watch it on Speed to see all that, but wasn't around for it.

Ya, I'm not sure why Speed has a contract with Fox for showing the race. That's one of the main reasons why I didn't watch it on Sunday cause of the time delay. The France GP re-air on Speed on Wednesday was a good 2 and half hours but lacked the pre-race show (Maybe 5 min of it) and the closing podium. It did have the interviews at the end.

I got to find out how many races Fox/Speed has. I think they did this last year but only for 3 races. It's mostly for the commentary that I watch speed and the extra stuff. I'm just glad they don't use some Fox guys.

Seems it is 4 races a year that they switch over to Fox (Prob a old USA GP deal due to the time frame of the races when the US GP was held).

Practice Session 2 and Qualifying are still on speed and I don't mind waiting until Wednesday to watch the race on Speed. Time delay sucks and if they do show the British GP live on Fox, I might give it a try. Other than that, only 1 race left on the bs channel Fox and we get our GP races back lol.

The one thing that sucked was the amount of commercials with this race. There was alot more (prob due to Fox of course) and lucky I have a DVD PVR to fast forward that bs. To cut out the ending was ....

*update* Fox has the German GP also.....then it goes back to Speed Channel coverage....sigh.

Crazy British GP. Had to again wait until Wednesday to watch it. The amount of commercials is driving me insane. Lewis drove a crazy race in the rain and Rubins is the "Magic Man" getting 3rd place. It was good to see him on the podium again.

Anybody see the huge jack rabbits on track? lol One almost got nailed while Massa scared the shit out of another. Germany in less than 2 weeks and Fox last race to air for 2008 also.

David Couthard is the man, he's always been a favorite of mine since I started to watch F1 back the later half of the 1998 season. Always a class act and the F1 sport wont be the same without him at the end of the season.

Damn, you got to it first! LMAO
Yeah, had to watch it today as well. Caught it at lap 22 (38 to go). Almost forgot it was on!

Was great (for me atleast) to see Lewis hand everyone their a** on a plate like that after what happened in Montreal. Made my day!

Liked what Barrichello had to say, he seems really excited to just be up there, and thank his son. That was cool

As for the race... That was just crazy madness! Spin out after spin out... I wasn't sure if they were racing or dancing!

Shame Coulthard is leaving. He may not be winning but he's a decent guy and he'll be missed from the grid.

No Silverstone next year, race is moving up north (a little).

I've never been to a live race before. Would be pretty cool though I'd have to tape the race to watch it properly later.

Apart from the atmosphere I think it might be pretty boring sitting there watching one corner of a track

Well, if you're hoping to actually even get a chance to see the cars, yeah, sit a tight slow corner... LMAO
Where I was sitting in Montreal you heard the car passing more than you saw it. Too fast to even see it. LOL, I starting wondering if what we see on TV is in slow motion...

But, it was still really fun. The good part about where I was sitting was, Pit lane was right infront of me, in particular I had Alonso, and Kubica straight ahead without even having to turn.

It was fun, absolutely, but if you're looking to REALLY watch the race, yeah, watching it on TV I do say is better. Granted the big screen TVs played a live broadcast of the race, but it just wasn't the same as watching it when I got home.

Still... I want to go again.
I'm poking at the idea of Japan; if not Japan maybe the UK.
Glad next year won't have a US race, another perfectly good reason to get of this place for several days!

Let The Race Begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE:

GO LEWIS GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!! 10 LAPS LEFT!
What a pass!!!!

UPDATE:

wow, that was a damn great race for Hamilton!

Congrats to Piquet for securing his job!

Hope that Glock is OK. That didn't look good that he was holding his lower back

LOL, hadn't seen it before, but just saw now a BMW 3 Series commercial that had a clip from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue! Yes yes, please endorse PS3 exclusives!

Also would like to say I really hate FOX Sports for not airing the driver interviews. A big day for Nelson Piquet, but the scummy trash at Fox Sports really don't care about such things I suppose. I bet if it was some NASCAR driver they'd hold off. Oh well. I'll find it on youtube at some point today I'm sure.
