Anyone like reality talent shows?

I mean things like American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. I'm a sucker for these shows, my latest obsession is Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (I even joined the fan club so I could see all the behind the scenes video, lol). If you are watching, who is your least favorite of the performers? For me it is definitely Elizabeth. I don’t like her fake attitude and she keeps messing up and not being held accountable. She slipped during “Papa Was A Rolling Stone”, she screwed up during “You’re not the one for me” – and Carrie Ann keeps glossing over it. I can’t wait until Carrie Ann has to kick someone off because it better be Elizabeth or else the world isn’t fair.

I have to be honest. I really don't like these shows. The only slight enjoyment I get is from the scantily clad women and that's not enough to make me watch them. The ideas behind these shows (singing/dancing competition) hold no appeal.

The pop idol style shows never have successful artists who sing my kind of music so by default I want the attractive woman/female group to win. At least when the winner is plastered all over the media I'll have something nice to look at.

What can I say, I'm a typical guy.

lol I guess it's okay to want the hot girl to win. I'm a girl, if it isn't obvious, and I sometimes want the hot guy to win. I mean, to be honest I think that a big part of the Dance War viewers are girls and that Zack, Phillip, and Qis are incredibly hot and Bradley is a sweetie so I'm sure that's a big draw for us gals. I dunno what yr taste in women is so here's a few of 'em from Dance War:

I hadn't realised you were a girl. Just noticed you are 1 month and 3 days older than me. My taste extends to not really fat, not really thin. I like to keep my options open .

I think I am in the minority rather than you as these shows are still mighty popular. Personally I'd rather stick Kerrang TV on if I'm sat around the house.

i like these shows.. American Idol i like too.. mainly because Paula and Randy are utterly wrong 99% of the time, i like Simon C... he isnt right all the time, but he certainly comes out with some great lines.

I watch some of these shows like American Idol, but I turn over if its a really bad person as I feel so sorry for them, I cant bear to watch, lol. xxx

In my opinion it makes to increase the confidence of the participants.So it is good.But i know it has some disqualifies also.Any way i like it.
