I dont like the idea of it being shot on a camcorder ala The Blair Witch.

I went to see I Am Legend last night as the advanced showings of Sweeney Todd were both sold out
But anyway, it was better than I expected as alot of people I have spoke to said it was poor.
Its just "28 days later" in New York, but also better.

I have now seen Resi Evil Extinction and I am Legend.

Resi was as I expected from seeing the first two. Generally ok but with obvious and expected flaws. The main boss was a bit naff and I really hope they never make a sequel to Extinction considering the way it ends.

I am Legend was worth watching and I dare to say, maybe even a DVD purchase. His slight insanity at seeing Dave or whatever his name was kinda caught me off guard as he seemed pretty sane before that point. I must have misunderstood the video store scene in that where I saw goofy behaviour to pass the time, it was intended to show he was a few cans short of a six pack.

As others have commented, the woman and child addition seemed rushed and I pretty much feel that about the last portion of the movie.

Yeah I totally agree about the rushed ending. But overall enteratining and like i said it exceeded my expectations.
My mate thought the "infected" actually put that Jeff (I think ) there to capture him but im of the opinion it was himself just going crazy having no human interaction and totally forgetting where he set his own traps etc...
