Default F1 mud slinging

I hope no further action is taken against McLaren. I'd hate to see the Championship go on if they were thrown out. Team shouldn't be penalised for the mistakes of one employee imo.

I think it's safe to say that Ferrari walk with the title if McLaren are stripped of their points.

McLaren have had all their team points taken from them and are unable to take any points from future races. In addition to this they havee been fined $100 million USD.

I agree with Sir Jackie Stewart that the punishment does not fit the crime at all. The team had provided evidence that they never received or used the Ferrari information and that it always remained in the hands of the man who has since been fired.

This is a completely bias ruling in favour of Ferrari. As to be expected, the man with his tongue firmly up the prancing horse Max Mosley said that the ruling was fair.

The only up side is that the drivers get to keep their points and can take additional points in future races.

I could not beleive this when I read about it on the way to work. A totally ridiculous punishment. I think Mclaren are going to appeal as well.

It said in the local London paper that when the Hatfield rail crash happened they fined Railtrack £4m. But 400 were injured and loads died!!!

Still I suppose Ferrari needed something to go their way this season

Yeah, Ferrari had better be quick if they want to find a feeble excuse to get Hamilton and Alonso kicked out to secure a win for one of their own drivers.
