Default Anybody here do any running?

I've become somewhat of a health nut over the past year or so.

I've completely abolished fast food from my diet, and do some light weight work as well as run two miles on a daily basis.

Anybody else do any running? I've got my two mile trek down to about 14:30.

I was a while back, I wanna start getting back into it though. I remember my best time on long distance was 3 miles in like 23:15 or something. It one of the greatest feeling afterwards feel healthy as shit after running,

I tried and gave myself a hernia. Back to the usual diet now as it seems to be better for my health

If I had more time and I had the money to buy the top quality foods then I might give it a go again. Not saying I eat particularly unhealthily but I do occassionally sit down to chips beans and sausage.

If you've got any recommendations I wouldn't say no.

I started jogging this spring. At my peak conditioning, I participated in a triathlon (500 yd swim, 12.1 mi bike, 3.5 mi run). Training for that was very time consuming, and I was always tired.

Now I'm back to jogging 2-3 miles, twice per week. My comfortable pace hovers around 9-minute miles, sustainable for at least four miles (never run further than that in one go).

Just this morning my buddy and I ran about 2.5 miles then played racquetball for an hour. But I definitely feel out of shape compared to my triathlon condition.

Tough to balance physical fitness with work and spending enough time with the kiddos.
