Hello everyone.

I've browsed the forum for a while, though I've not bothered logging in because I've never really had much to add to any given discussion.

However, I have finally joined the nextgen gaming community (360) and will more than likely post regular basis.

Doesn't seem like much has changed.

It's like spring time for the forum: all the bears are waking up and coming out looking for berries. Mostly still groggy, but starting to stretch the fingers out and hunker down for the fall/winter posting season.

Hmm... perhaps I mixed too many metaphors there.

Athens, from what I can tell, is a pretty cool town.

(I've only been here a month or so.)

Though it can be boring at times.

This is purely a drinking town, and if you're not in the mood to drink it can be somewhat bust.

My dad taught at Ohio University back in the fifties, he met my mom at Florida State while doing research (chemistry prof), they married, and stayed in Athens for 4-5 more years while my brother and I were born. I was 1 when we moved to Fort Worth after dad started teaching at TCU. Been here ever since, ive heard Athens is mostly a college town, expect that would include a lot of partying without a doubt. Eventually im gonna join the next gen scene too, think its gonna be ps3 within a year or so...
