Does $40 a month sound like a reasonable price for the following:
--free Motorola L6 ![]() --free mobile-to-mobile (I can call anyone with AT&T, in my calling area, for free) --5,000 night & weekend minutes --450 anytime minutes --Rollover (minutes pass over from month to month) --free Bluetooth headset --first month free (well, $50 rebate) I think it's a pretty decent deal, but I'm not married to it. Any suggestions? Different plan, different phone? I'm all new to this stuff, so if anyone could help that'd be awesome. |

Sounds similar to what I'm paying (including taxes). Not many options here in MT, though...

Caveman. I don't have my phone permanently fixed to my ear but it is useful when I want to tell someone something but don't wish to speak to them and also to let people know where I am if I'm late. EDIT:: Back on topic, I think it's a good offer.

The offer sounds great (especially considering how much it'd be in GBP), but I've had troubles with Motorola phones in the past and quite a few people I know have too. On the other hand one of my friends had a Motorola for a good few years that was still working when he renewed his contract for a better phone. I'd find out whether that model inparticular is reliable before you commit

Actually, Lefty, ive found it much more reasonable to use a pre paid cell phone. Unless you have the need to constantly be gabbing on the phone its the way to go you save tons over a contract phone.

But I like this new phone. I just got a $2 per hour raise, so maybe this is what I'll spend it on. Then again, farf, I just looked up T-Mobile To Go's prepaid plans and they seem very reasonable... I'll do the math out on my half-day off tomorrow... Thanks for the input guys. |

I still use the nokia phone i had with my cingular contract, and use cingular/att prepaid now. I was spending around $700 a year when i paid for contract and now its probably $200 a year or less, depends on how much you need one, man, but the way i went it has all the same abilities just a lot less $ since your not paying for something if you arent using it...
