Deron Williams admitted to avoiding him last season, mostly because of AK's work ethic (first to leave the gym). Sounds to me like it'd be best for the team if he left.

How dare you. AK-47 is the coolest nickname in sports.

I like him a lot (he was pretty much the loan bright spot on some really bad Utah teams), but if they can get something decent out of him, I won't be too sad to see him go. He's had a couple down years in a row, is really whiney, had the work ethic issues that you referenced, and, if Williams' comments are any indication, wasn't well liked by his teammates.

All that said, I'll miss him if he leaves. When he was on and trying hard, he was a lot of fun to watch. He was a great defensive player, and really filled up the box score by doing a little bit of everything. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him do well on a different team, especially if he can play power forward again. A lot of his problems started when Boozer came to Utah and he had to move to small forward to make room.

I'm getting tired of the "Is he staying? Or is he going?" crap. Just trade him off, already, and let's get started on the rebuild.

Important to note, however, that I don't think it's Kobe's fault the Laker's suck. I think it's just a combination of circumstances.

Alright, alright... I admit that I really don't want him to get traded. Just getting sick of the "drama." Would be nice to see how well they could play this year, without the constant distractions. But I guess that's what you get when you play in La La.

Yeah I feel the same way about AK-47 (though obviously not quite as strongly since he's like the 5th best player on the team). I'm just sick of hearing about it and want the deal to hurry up and happen if it's going to happen.

If the Lakers do trade Kobe (and I don't think they will), what are some potential deals you'd like to see? Hard to get equal value for perhaps the best player in the league, but I imagine they can get some pretty good players out of it.
