I didnt watch s1 closely, but have watched season 2, and its good, definitely have to keep up with it since it involves like 4-5 different situations. I think 24 was smart a few years ago by starting their season so that there wasnt a big break in between episodes, its tough following a show really close with a big break like that. Although if you like the show enough its doable...
