Default Since Arnold brought up Scrubs the other day...

And I'm watching The Todd complain about his waxer being in the Bahamas right now, I figured this is a good time for a Scrubs appreciation thread.

Personally I think it's the best comedy on TV since Seinfeld, and Dr. Cox may just be the most awesome sitcom character ever.

This season has been kinda off, but yeah, other than Arrested Development () and Seinfeld, it's my favorite comedy ever. I've been watching since the first episode, and have all the seasons on DVD, but I still stop to watch everytime I see a rerun on Comedy Central or whatever. It's too bad it's been jerked around by NBC so much and has never really taken off in the ratings. And, yes, Dr. Cox does indeed rule.

As much as I like Arrested Development (and yes it was murdered by Fox, they kill everything good) I think Scrubs just does the comedy/drama thing so well, even if it is formulaic.

And McGinley (Cox) is such a versatile actor. Really, for as talented as he is, it's surprising he hasn't landed a lot bigger roles.

I like it but like most shows I only catch them every so often.

I wouldn't disagree with that, I just think Arrested Development was a lot funnier. Which is hardly a knock on Scrubs, because I think Arrested Development was a lot funnier than pretty much every show ever made.

Scrubs is awesome. Probably is the funniest show on TV.

Elliot called Perry by his full name "Percival".

Elliot to Cox: "I may not have a ring, but you can kiss my ass."

When I have nothing else to do, I start flipping through my sat. guide just to see when Scrubs would be playing. There's a VERY good chance of me catching a show, since it's syndicated on three channels.

Oh man we agree again!? Yes, on the pure FUNNAY scale AD just rapes about every other show ever, but it didn't have the legs Scrubs did because Fox sucks, and I love how Scrubs realizes it's dealing with a serious medium and treats it as such.

THREE channels? I only know that it's on Comedy Central and WGN, which is fine because that gives me SIX episodes a day. Dare I ask you which other station carries it?
