For root beer, A&W is hard to beat. I usually drink diet pop, so I go with Diet A&W, Diet 7-up, Diet Pepsi (regular, cherry, or lime), or Diet Mtn Dew.

Dr. Pepper's good, though, as is the diet version. NOT the diet cherry vanilla crap, though. That's putrid.
