Guns aren't the problem, it's the idiots who get hold of them.

There are some parts of the report that I heard last night that concerned me. It said that the second attack happened about 2 hours after the first. Why weren't the police swarming all over the campus by then? The info came from an interview with one of the peopl who was shot.

What I think clearly happened is that he played something called a 'videogame' which caused him to go on a murderous rampage, when attempting to 'emulate' the 'videogame'.

One of the things that really sickens me with this type of thing is how every media outlet/persona instantly falls all over himself saying how his "thoughts and prayers" go out to victims, etc. etc. It's a mockery of the true tragedy, because about 50% of them (at least) are just saying it because it's the PC thing to do.

This is going to be one of the few times I play nazi mod, and say that bitching about gun laws, politicizing this, etc. is NOT going to fly.

What happened is ****ing tragic, and I can't even begin to comprehend what was going through that guy's head. I will not sit idly by and watch this turn into some cluster **** political debate.

If you would like to share your condolences or discuss this that is fine. The moment I see this thread hijacked for some political debate, I am locking it down.

My heart goes out to the victims. A buddy of mine spent all day yesterday freaking out because he has several friends there (for RT guys, that's why Koo hasn't been around). It's so ****ing hard to go through this.

UK News update says he shot the 19yo girl he had an infatuation with then disappeared. He then came back 2 hours later and killed almost randomly, except for one guy who just happened to live on the same floor as the girl. Maybe he'd built up some fantasy relationship in his head and thought that the guy was trying to move in on her. Made him flip?

Anyway, I feel sorry for the friends and families of the victims.

Also heard that a professor who survived the WW2 holocaust was killed, trying to protect his students. That guy deserves some respect right there.
